The Council of the College of Dentistry held its second session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Majid Al-Nasrawi, and attended by his assistants and the Council members representing the heads of the scientific departments.
During the session, the Council discussed a number of academic and administrative matters, including the development of the educational process, updating curricula, the continuing education plan, students’ graduation research projects, student activities, and quality assurance. The meeting also addressed the follow-up of workflow in the teaching clinics, the regularity of lectures, and the requirements for programmatic accreditation.
The meeting further emphasized the importance of providing psychological and academic support to first-year students, discussed preparations for mid-year examinations, and reviewed the College’s achievement of first place at the Third Scientific Forum for Research of Dentistry College Students. In addition, the student representative was hosted to listen to their observations and suggestions.
